Hatchet Studio is proud to introduce our second letterbox to the range. ‘Besser’ is an in-wall letterbox available in brass and copper.

We designed this letterbox to suit a standard concrete block for ease of installation and seamless integration into a wall. Another consideration when designing this letterbox, after feedback from clients and retailers, is to have a door that can remain open independently. So one of Besser’s features is a pivoting door that can recess to remain open. Every letterbox comes with a high quality cam lock and two keys. But, if you don’t have security as a requirement and prefer a simpler look sans lock, we can customise without. In fact we are always happy to discuss customisation of our products.

After being lucky enough to be on-site for an install we had the chance to discuss installation with bricklayers. The feedback was invaluable. They said that it was easy to install because it comes as a unit and is very sturdy unlike many other options on the market.
