Hatchet Studio is a boutique makers space founded in 2020 in Sydney, Australia. We design and produce bespoke outdoor accessories to complement the architecture of Australian homes while maintaining an ethical & aesthetic stance. We value:

Australian made. Each piece is proudly designed & hand assembled at Hatchet Studio in Sydney. We use custom components that are precision made by local fabricators to our specifications.

Materiality. Brass | Copper | Zinc have been selected for their aesthetic qualities, durability, corrosion resistance & patina - a protective layer that develops as it ages capable of self-repairing. These materials are tactile, ever changing and ageless.

Quality. Every design aspect of our products gives equal consideration to both form and function. Hand assembled & finished with attention to detail, each piece is individually stamped by the maker. Quality control is maintained through close relationships with local specialist manufacturers of our components.

Sustainability We minimise our carbon footprint by keeping it local; using materials that are non-toxic, recyclable and requiring less water & energy during production. Each product is made to stand the test of time aesthetically and physically. Packaging is kept to a minimum and is recyclable. We use Sendle-Australia’s first 100% carbon neutral shipping company-whenever possible.
